Online ePoster Guidelines

Please read the guidelines below carefully before preparing and uploading your E-Poster. Following these instructions will ensure your submission is displayed correctly at the E-Poster stations during OSSICON 2027.

E-Poster Viewing

  • Presenters will receive an upload link via e-mail in late December 2026.
  • Abstracts allocated to E-Poster Viewing will be uploaded for display from the start of the meeting at the E-Poster stations.
  • Only posters submitted by registered participants will be displayed.
  • The deadline for uploading your E-Poster is 2nd January 2027.

Prepare your E-Poster

Technical specification for E-Poster preparation:

  • Submit your E-Poster as a PDF file (1 page is recommended).
  • Prepare your poster in landscape orientation using a PowerPoint 16:9 slide, then save it as a PDF.
  • Use standard font types only, such as Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman or Helvetica.
  • Use a font size greater than 11pt to ensure readability.
  • Do not include hyperlinks, animated images, animations or embedded videos.
  • Images and tables should be at least 200dpi for clear display.
  • Use copy-paste to insert images directly — do not insert embedded documents.
  • Avoid overlapping objects and layers in your design.
  • Do not use symbols or special characters in the file name.
  • The maximum file size is 5MB.
  • An optional E-Poster template is available for download.

Please note that you may NOT save the file name with any characters or symbols – only letters and numbers and no spaces in the file name.

By following the guidelines above, you will ensure your E-Poster is displayed correctly. Without following these instructions, your E-Poster will be unable to be uploaded.
